Get to Know Thread!

Hey everyone!

Since we've got this forum up and going now I figured I'd jump on and get the ball rolling as we, hopefully, get more people to come and post here.

One of the great things about our previous Forums was the sense of family and community it brought to Havok, a value that has always been present in the guild and continues today. So, I thought I'd start a little Get to Know thread - a little way for people to share some info about themselves and become more than just a 3D character to everyone in the guild.

So I'll start things off, feel free to use the template I use here or just post a few facts about yourself!

About me!
My real name is Chris, and as those who've been on vent know, I was born and currently live in Australia. I was born in a city called Mackay, during an intense heatwave which has left me with a rather severe aversion to cold weather ;)

I have been playing World of Warcraft for five years. I have many different characters and have been known by many different names across those years. I joined Havok some four years or so ago at the suggestion of Vorust, who was a member of the guild. I was impressed by the family atmosphere of the guild and their accepting nature and have remained a part of the guild in one way or another up to now.

Most people know me as either Ror or Coro these days.

I've also been a part of several other guilds and even led my own raiding guild during my time on the Oceanic servers, however, I am yet to find a guild with the integrity of Havok.

Personally, I've worked as a web designer for a number of years. I have recently switched my career goals and am currently studying in an attempt to gain a Certificate of Marine Studies with which to progress these goals.

A few last notes - music, I like anything British really. From the Beatles to Oasis and the Verve. My favorite movies include Moon, Equilibrium and every single 007 James Bond film. I'm an avid Bond fan and, up until 2006, Pierce Brosnan was my favorite Bond actor until Daniel Craig's performance in Casino Royale.

Hrmmm what to say that's different since last time I did this

Well first, my real name is Christine. Also for the people that wonder why people in guild call me Pook; it's because my warriors name was Pookca which came from my RL nickname Pook. Just recently turned 18 at the beginning of the year.

I've been playing WoW for about 4 years now. Started playing after watching my dad and granma playing. I joined Havok a bit after I started playing because of them. Haven't left anyone that's been in Havok since.

Going to be graduating in the middle of this month. Can't wait for that heh.

My music taste is mostly toward Rock and that stuff. I'm in love with Seether, Avril Lavigne, Bullet for my Valentine and many more bands.

And i'm gonna do what Chris suggests; a pic.
